Baltic Bus Blitz 1: Tallinn

An overnight bus from St Petersburg delivered us into the cold grey dawn of Estonia and its capital city of Tallinn. The first thing we had to deal with was the EEKs. These were everywhere – on signs, advertising, coffee machines and, as always, on any public toilets. No, I’m not talking about our screams at the prices (although these were a bit high) but the prices themselves: EEK is the currency of Estonia also known as the Estonian Kroon.
