Leaving Room 108

On the 21st of February, we left Room 108 in the Carmichael Building of Wycliffe UK. It was home to us from September until then. We didn’t imagine we’d be in there in 2009 but, things down’t always work out the way you expect them to. It was sad to leave actually (although we didn’t think so when we moved in!) Particularly sad was that we were leaving a floor of volunteers from all over the world including people from Japan and Korea. We still see them at work regularly though.

We try to say goodbye in every language represented on the corridor (didn’t know Hungarian)

Some more views of snow

Here are a couple more pictures of the snow we enjoyed a couple of weeks ago. It’s so warm here now, with beautiful flowers blooming everywhere, that it’s hard to imagine that this was only recently.

Just doing some study in the library here and thought you might like to see the mass of snow that we’ve had recently. Most in 80 years apparently. I’ve been helping shovel snow most mornings.

I’ll try and upload some more stuff over the weekend….

as promised, a couple more pics this morning…
