7th Anniversary

All together now…

It was seven years ago today
we started johnandsheena.co.uk

And in celebration of that fact, we’ve resurrected the original homepage from June 14th 2002.

Before you go off clicking everywhere, please note that most it doesn’t work. We’re just doing this for show.

I can’t believe I used that much Flash on one page. Even today, it runs slowly on my machine. How it ran then is beyond me.

One bit that does work, and we’re very glad it does, is The Walk Some of you who’ve been around for a while in our lives will remember this. Most of you won’t. If any of you do The Walk, remember this: I created this at least five years before Google Maps Street View. Wish I’d patented the idea back then. The Walk has also suffered because of tightened Internet security. Back then, I could preloud sounds and have them play without your permission. Not anymore. Even popups get blocked now so you’ll need them enabled if you want to talk on The Walk challenge.
