If this feature list isn’t enough for you, check out a few screenshots and the screencasts too.

And if you trust me enough to ignore all that, and just want to get your hands on it right now:

  • NEW: upgrade from v3.3 in just a few clicks! Yes, that’s right. If you’ve been daunted by the thought of entering all that data in yet again, fear no more. In just a few clicks you can have that data imported to v4. Check out Screencast 3 below for a demo of this.
  • all the lists so far… yes, that’s right, all of them. That means
    • the original 2006 list
    • the books removed from 2006
    • books added to 2006
    • the revised edition of the list from 2008
    • books removed from 2008
    • books added to 2008
    • the revised and updated edition released in 2010
    • All 3: all the books that have been in any of the editions at some point
    • The Core: the books that have remained part of the list since 2006
  • a navigation page
    • a navigation page right out the box
    • links throughout the spreadsheet to help you find your way around
    • as usual, every book and author links to Google Books or Wikipedia where it can
  • enter data once, update everything
    • no need to enter data into more than one spreadsheet
    • enter the data once into the master list and… voila… it appears automatically wherever else the book is listed
  • rate your books
    • as you finish your books you can now rate them
    • choose anything from 0 to five stars in half star increments er… no this did something weird when sorting so it’s just 0-5 stars.
    • sort your list by rating values
  • personalised reading plans
    • now seven different ways to read the three lists
    • male and female life expectancies for every country in the world
    • if you aren’t on target to make your list before you die, Arukiyomi will tell you
    • find out what age you’ll be when you finish your reading plan
  • stats galore
    • progress on every list calculated automatically
    • r and tbr tracking as on v3
    • NEW: w tracking – w for wishlist! Add in some wishlist titles and share your spreadsheet with your friends and family sometime in early December ;-)
    • your percentage read
    • percentage read when tbr list is finished
    • percentage read when you finish your wishlist
  • colour coding
    • all books colour coded so you know what’s what
      • blue = The Core: books unchanged since 2006
      • red = books removed from 2006
      • green = books added to 2006
      • brown = books removed from 2008
      • purple = books added to 2008
