I rarely ascribe my top rating of “superb” to a book of any kind. For me, a superb book has to score highly enough on every aspect that I rate books on to achieve 90% or more overall.

I’ve been rating books on Arukiyomi since December 2006. In that time, the following books are the only ones which I’ve rated as superb. I list them below in order that I’ve read them, not necessarily in their order of greatness. I’ve placed my fiction selection first and, below that, non-fiction.
